Nope, the one I used came out of a 97 Legacy Outback Automatic, and I had to lengthen the front section, and swap brackets on the carrier bearing, my thoughts are that if it had been out of a Manual 97 Legacy Outback, it would have been the correct length to start with, so the carrier bearing bracket would be the only modification to it.
But would like someone to confirm this by tring one out.
