Having the SVX into the local radiator shop for a quick R-12 discharge/recharge (the 1st ever service on the a/c heating system!) after 11 summers of mild Oregon weather (it took 1/2 lb. FREON), the owner brought to my attention that the hoses "appeared to be the OEM" ones (they are) and
SQUEEZE, CRUNCH need to be replaced!
I ran the search on this board and didn't really find a lot under "hoses".
Anybody have a diagram of which hoses are which? I know about the upper & lower radiator hoses, but what about the heater hoses? Which is which? I have a "flushing tee" to place inline on the heater core inlet hose: which one is that? I also hear about the existance of a "crossover" hose in the system...
Anyone out there who has done this job (and I KNOW you're out there!) please chip in with your advice. I'm also wondering if there are viable alternatives to "GENUINE Subaru Part$" in the aftermarket vis-a-vis these hoses.
Thanks in advance for your consideration!

I've found that 1stsubaruparts.com is cheaper for hoses that the local Autozone.
The hoses are:
45167PA000 Radiator Hose Inlet $9.60
45167PA020 Radiator Hose Outlet $9.60
72015PA000 Heater Hose Inlet $11.22
72015PA010 Heater Hose Outlet $11.22
Clamps if you so choose...
091748004 Radiator Hose Clamp (4 needed) $2.50ea.
909170033 Heater Hose Clamp (4 needed) $2.98ea.
If you haven't changed them yet, you should replace the two tiny ATF cooler hoses under the brake master cylinder.
45521PA051 Atf Hose (2 needed) $16.52ea.
Item 7 on the diagram:

They are quite expensive, but regular atf hose tends to kink because of the sharp turn.
