It's the electrical connection and the starter is not getting the power. It will take them about 5 hours to check out why at the rate of 84/h and it will cost me about 500 just to know why the damn car would not start. If it is the bloody alarm, I will jump on the unit.

Are these the same people who installed your tranny? I'd suspect something they forgot to hook up, or, perhaps a pinched wiring harness (has happened to a couple of members after tranny install).
