Hooked up every thing the way it was as I pulled it out. It has something to do with outside temperature, when it's cold it reads low when it's above 60, it seems to read normal.

Thanks for the quick reply Harvey. The transmission is from a 98 Leggy outback, not sure of any numbers as it was on the car from the previous owner. And I was pretty sure the QC wasn't the problem...
