Re: OEM Wheels and tires

I am open to offers. These are in very good condition considering their age. Someone please make me a reasonable offer for them before I completely run out of space!

Re: OEM Wheels and tires

Last time I checked FedEx was about $150 to ship all 4. I think if I get a quote from UPS it will be more like $100, but as Geoff put it, shipping 4 50lb boxes is not going to be cheap no matter what...

Re: OEM Wheels and tires

I can ship if need be. The tires are Ovation, they are a touring mud and snow tire. They were quiet and reasonably sticky when I ran them.

When I pulled it everything worked, although I do think the lights on the CD portion did not work.

Let me know if you are still interested.

OEM Wheels and tires

I have a set of wheels off my 94 LSi. I was asking $400 for them, but now I am willing to take $250! They have good all season tires on them, no peeling, and very little rash.

Stock wheels and tires from 1994 LSi

I have a full set of wheels and tires from a 1994 LSi. There is no peeling on the wheels, but they do show signs of being 16 years old. The tires are National Ovation 225/50/R16 and have about 50%...

1994 LSi transmission

I have a good transmission out of a 1994 LSi. I am rebuilding the car and swapped in a 4.444 transmission. At the time I pulled it last week it was shifting fine and showed no signs of any issues. It...

Re: building engines and turboing 2 svx's woot woot!

Your EGTs will go through the roof, but as a rule, no, you could not reasonably expect to react quick enough to the massive detonation that would occur at full boost if one of the pumps failed. You...

Re: building engines and turboing 2 svx's woot woot!

As the total demand on the fuel pump exceeds flow capacity of the pump the fuel pressure drops. One way around this is to run 2 pumps, which cuts the demand on each pump in half. This keeps your fuel...

Re: building engines and turboing 2 svx's woot woot!

Even with 6 550 injectors you are not going to be able to keep up with a GT40 turbo, same story with the Walbro. You can go with either 2 Walbro pumps, or move over to a more stout pump like the...

Re: STi brakes, the brute force way!

You are right, I have no 4.44 R180 rear ends, I have one 3.9, and one 3.54. Can't say I recall seeing a 4.44 come through ever. I do have a fair number of axles, so I might be able to help you sort...

Re: STi brakes, the brute force way!

If you decide to take on the rears let me know, I can save you from needing "new" parts. I have axles and the R180 already.

Great job on this! truly better work than most shops would do. If you do...

Re: STi brakes, the brute force way!

Looks like it really came together nicely.

You could TIG the two pieces together nicely, although I doubt it would add much function, just be darn pretty!
