Machining out the center section means you've lost the IRIS / low torque resonance effect... doesn't sound like a good idea. Second issue I see is none of those items you've listed really will help...

Seems the big radiator worked a treat for the EJ207.

We had a EG33 casualty in another car... autopsy being performed now.

Did you read below? You've got to understand Subaru used the pump they did to suit very low RPM flow rate requirements and not the 7000 rpm requirements.

The computer determines the flow rates if you do decide to run an electric water pump. When engine is hot - flowrate is high. When engine is cold - flow rate is pulsed or low - it's all automatic,...

It's an interesting one for sure. I'd like to see the results of fluctating pump flow rate to simulate the job of a thermostat and ensure the engine exit temps are constant.

If you read my post properly it never says you are wrong. It simply says I've never actually seen the cavitation myself. Most people understand to solve an issue you need to experience it first hand....

I reckon give it a go. Personally I wouldn't as it's complicated and I think the sole issue remains, that being a huge pump, far too big for the purpose of cooling the EG33.

Given Trevor's original idea was along the right track - I wouldn't be surprised if drilling holes in the rotors helps. Personally I wouldn't do it because the entire water pump IMO is a problem and...

Something else worth getting is the STI brake master cylinder and pedal setup. The pedal length and the cylinder diameter all change the feel and bite of the brakes. If you can get the SVX to bite...

Was done during that warm spell in Melbourne and then on the dyno for some of it... dyno rooms are usually north of 30'C.
