Better and easier then cutting and splicing two harnesses together I'd say lol. May be a pain to do the new mounts and maybe crossmember. Taylor, if you got the time and money to do it, then go for...

Well if he swaps the complete harness, most sensors, ecu, and dash over, wouldnt that eliminate a lot of wiring headaches? I know it won't be super simple of a swap but maybe doing those things could...
