Thanks, Nate. They are aftermarket 5 spokes with close to factory offsets. I will try it since my summer rims/tires have ZERO snow traction as I learned a few years back when I was caught by surprise...

In my H6 Outback the stock rubber/metal pully started to seperate and cut almost through the METAL timing cover. Only made noise on very hot days under load... took a little while to figure out.

I believe on the 3.0 H6 and maybe the 3.3 also there is a trick about raising the front of the car and running the motor to free a trapped air bubble when replacing the coolant.
