It was definately the ECU. Hard to ignore the smell of burnt electronics. The new ECU works great. Thanks for the help.!!

Sorry about lapse of time, but I finally got to checking things out. It looks like it may be my ecu that is the problem. I'm going to get ahold of another one in a bit and then I'll know for sure.

Ok. I think I know what I did wrong when I was checking the voltage. I will re-check it as soon as I can and chime back in.

Ok. I will look into it more this weekend . Just one more quick question. What pin number is the blue/red wire when it goes into the ecu at the yellow connector b61? It's 1 thru 16 I just don't see a...

So the solenoid , when it is supposed to turn on , should be getting the 12+ volts it's supposed to. If I'm only getting 3.7 volts constant wether I'm idling or driving then my ecu is messed up,...

I'm having issues with my purge control solenoid. Is the white and red wire the positive lead and the blue red wire the negative? My problems started when I had to take my intake off to replace one...
