Make sure you splice the ground to sensor ground, if you have that specific pin available. If sensor ground is not an option make sure you don't ground it with other ignition grounds to...

The only real difference is that the 92 models had Auto UP & DOWN, while the 93+ had only Auto DOWN. The connector itself is identical.

Yes that is correct the mount (41022PA010) and bracket (41031PA110) for the left side are NLA.

The best solution is to use the Group N Engine mounts which are meant for the 2002-20015 WRX STI....

It's actually easier to just cut the firewall. I believe the holesaw size is 1 5/8", that should give you the correct size hole.
