Broken Window Cable

I thought the usual plastic part was broken but upon further inspection I saw that the cable had frayed and snapped :(

Is the cable something I can buy at subaru or do I have to buy the whole...

Yes but Huck stated that he could use the front sensor out of his automatic box. (the pictured sensor is actualy the same type as the european front sensor) Which he can't :) Other 4eat's in europe...

European SVX 4eat's doesn't have it's speed sensor in the front diff. Both are located in the center diff (yes it also have a proper center differential) one is...

Yes PLC's can be used. What kind are you using?
And yes for simple things I love using 555's
Didn't realize that it was that old but Wiki claims that it is indeed 30 years old :)

Problem fixed...
It turns out that it was the MAF afterall..
Cleaned it and resoldered the internal pins. All the codes went away :)

Well had it in the garage for some time and the it would start. (a littel rugh but it started) after running for a while it started flawlessly.
Also before it heated up i tried to use starter fluid...

When removing the inntake hose to clean the sugested part. I noticed the the hose leading from the iac to the inntake hose was dissconected. reconected it and everything is golden.

Well at first I was driving with the fuse out. and then when I put the fuse in there the car was still only driving in front wheel drive.
So the only difference between having the fuse in and out...
