Selling my SVX because I'm tired. I've had several mechanics trying to convert it to a manual tranny only to no avail. The 5sp '98 Legacy GT Tranny is installed but it was setup as a manual clutch...

Sometimes it starts and other times it doesn't. If it won't start, all I have to do is push it a little and pop it in gear. Then it'll start right up. It's a starter for a '98 Legacy GT.

Having starter issues after 5mt swap
Has anyone had problems with the starter after 5mt ('98 Legacy GT) swap? I was told it needs shims, but where do I find them or what is the fix?

Wanna go 5 speed Where r the parts?
I want to make my baby a 5 speed, heard the '96-98 Legacy clutch assembly is the way to go. Does anyone know where are the parts? Having a hard time.
