just got word from the electrical shop that there is a bad crank sensor 2wire/sensor and possibily something wrong with the engine harness.
will be checking the sensor
and the tcu...

this is located on the driver side of the engine right?

that looks like it's the water temp sensor.

cam angle sensor is located in the front of the engine on the driver side

it's directly...

the starter would engage when keyed. Hondasucks mentioned that the overheating chassis ground is usually due to a corroded wire on the starter ground



All other electrical circuits are working...

Here is the diagnosis
Timing belt is fine.
Fusible link 2 is not blown.
No interior or exterior fuses are blown.
Negative lead to the chassis is a melted badly.* Plastic battery tray is melted by...

Wife was driving it and she said that earlier, the car sputter a bit when she was getting out of parking spot.

She's at a light and it dies. cranks freely and does not light up.

I just read in the paper that Van Nuys Airport will be hosting a B-17 until Sunday.

Cost is $5 per person to explore the plane on the ground and $399 if you want to take a 22 min flight.

I just found out from a friend who lives in needles that there are 3 svii in the junkyards near him. Two are in kingman there other I don't remember where.

be careful taking off the t-belt covers. The plastic housing for the nuts in the back can be brittle and break. J-B weld works wonders to resecure the nuts.

Also if you are doing the cam seals,...

Had the SVX smog the first time and the numbers were great.
Idle HC- 51 out of 120, CO- .02 out of 1.00
2500 HC-39 out of 140, CO- .04 out of 1.00

Rewired it and it's working like a champ.

Too bad I got a parking ticket for leaving on the street sweeper side :mad:
