Thanks trevor. Your post (#11) made me think about that and post the sucurity light symptom. You guys on this forum are great, as I now have a real good idea of where to start. Thanks.

Yup, the switch is off. I did notice after I reconnect the battery, when I am ready to start the car, the sucurity button light is illuminated. Once I push the switch on and off again it goes out,...

guys... the switch is off. i am thinking that the relay might be stuck on... when i get home from work, ill check it out and let you know.

I don't know why I didn't think about it before, but I bet it is most likely a stuck relay. Time to consult the good ole wiring diagram.

Yup... thats the parking light button. That was my first thought.
Its too cold to be out there messing around with it right now, but I will check it out in the garage tomorow.
