What about the opposite? Would a OBDI work in a '96? I'm interested in the ECUTune project and it won't work with OBDII(yet). LAN has enough on his plate right now, so I don't want to bother him...

This is a great idea. :) Kudos LAN for going through all the hard work and labor to find out how to make our cars last for another many years. I'm fortunate that I don't have any tranny problems yet...

Ok. I'll work on getting the top part of my foot amputated. Meanwhile the check engine light did come back on today and the engine isn't running quite as smooth, so I guess it really was going bad....
