Weak cylinder

Need some help here. I finished installing a manual and when I started it up one cylinder seems to be weak. Not a total misfire. It sounds like a lumpy V8 and you can feel a vibration when under...

Re: 4:44 converions woes

Throttle cable attachment

I had my engine out and now in the process of reinstalling. Forgot which side of the two intake cams the throttle cable attaches to. I think it goes on the inside (left) cam. Is this correct?

Re: Exhaust valves NLA

Thanks for link. They are pretty expensive as it looks like you have to buy full set but at least you can get them.

I have a cylinder with low compression. Not sure if it a head gasket although water temp is fine, no coolant leak that I can find and no white exhaust. So likely a valve problem. Does anyone know...

Re: How do you unplug coil connector?

The male connector has a tab that snaps over a small tab on the top of the female connector. You need to lift that tab up so it can slide over the top of the tab on the female connector.

Re: Engine removal?

It certainly looks like it would be a PITA but pulling motor not a fun job either. I'll probably go ahead and pull the motor as it will be certainly be much easier to work on.

Engine removal?

Is it possible to change head gasket without pulling motor? Bad gasket is on right side so a little more room over there.

Re: What else would I need to use this for a 5 speed swap?

I used the SVX pedal. The WRX lever for the throttle cable is shorter and might have been OK but I couldn't see an easy way to get the bracket to bolt up to the SVX. Totally different bracket. ...

Re: What else would I need to use this for a 5 speed swap?

I just finished installing pedals from a 2004 WRX. Not sure how they compare to a Legacy. Really not much to modify on the pedals, at least the way I did it. There was an extension at the top of...

Re: Struts, new in boxes.

Still have these? I'm in the middle of a manual install and would like to redo the front struts. Mine are pretty tired. Feels like a boat when going over large bumps.
