Re: Engine Block Coffee Table

I see a lot of wear on that piston. Must be high mileage or oil starved.

Re: Craigslist and other finds

That's a far nicer looking car than the red, even with the wheels on backwards. Beautiful in fact.

No reserve on this one, woot!

Re: TPS, Crank and Cam Sensors

If you find somebody with spare crank and cam sensors, make sure they are new. Removing them without damage is virtually impossible.
FYI There's a company called Speedy EFI which sells an...

Re: Radiator Replacement

PWR is listed at $939.00 USD now.
$1265 CAD which is more than I paid for my '97.

Re: Radiator Replacement

At this point, any radiator that will fit is a bonus. There is literally nothing available.

Re: Craigslist and other finds

Sadly I don't think he'll get a great price. BaT grenaded his auction by using 9 photos pre-detail for the listing. Small damage and stains, leaks etc. Also no mention of the factory service manuals....

Re: Quick Missfire

If you had another MAF, you could could swap them and see if the problem is still there. Try driving it and see what happens. If it has the common MAF sensor issue, only resoldering it will solve the...

Re: Quick Missfire

Sounds like it could be the MAF sensor. There's lots of info on site and I think a "How to" for resoldering the connections inside. The MAF was repaired on my '97 by the previous owner and I did one...

Re: Craigslist and other finds

I'm not quite sure why he changed the colour from Claret to Silver. It was in nice shape when he bought it in 2019. It went from $7200 to $8400 in 4 years with the colour change. It has quite high...

Re: Time for me to move on...SVX in Columbus, Ohio for sale

That's pretty cool, 12 years later and it's still alive. Or as Robin Williams would sing..." oh, oh, oh, oh, barely alive, barely alive" (Bee Gees satire)

Re: FS: The legendary 1996 “svxcess-polo”

If you don't find any takers, try BaT. They've been selling for very good prices and yours is a beauty.
If I could afford $21,000 CAD, I would buy your car in a minute.
