I would much rather keep it as a realistic economic discussion versus political, but some of the other side just have to read conspiracy or political manipulation in a really free market situation.

Any one with half a brain knows what factors bear on the price of gas and that the price is largely set by the oil futures trading on the WORLD market. Prices are not set by the government even...

I made a trip to Oklahoma last week and paid $2.14 (later saw a place with $2.09) in OKC, $2.39 in Western Okla, $2.42 in West Texas, but it is still $2.75 here in my small New Mexico town.
