I was checking CEL codes yesterday and noticed that the white connectors shown in this image are not connected on my car. I'm wondering if I should snap them together.

If you are handy with a soldering iron it's quite easy to desolder and remove a capacitor, then replace it. Lots of videos on line. You just need some solder wick, vacuum bulb and soldering Iron.

The last time I replaced a torn boot the OEM wouldn't fit. The shop ended up using a universal boot based on the diameter. It has worked well for 4 years now.

I checked the CEL codes. 37, 32 and 23.

37 and 32 are the O2 sensors. 23 is the MAF sensor

I've always had one O2 which is slow to activate. I'm surprised to see the...

I installed the BeckArnley tie rod ends a number of years back. Perfect fit. Have had no problems with them.

Anyone found a suitable non oem replacement for the gasket between the catalytic converter and exhaust pipe?

OEM No. 44022PA031 (44022PA030) no longer available from Subaru.

Battery terminals are tight.

I did have the alternator changed when I got the new battery. The old one wasn't putting out what it should. Replacement is a salvaged unit. I'll have the shop check...
