Just had to drop a new tranny into her, topping off about $6000 worth of work I've had done since I got it (Bearings, Rear defrost, Seals, all that good stuff)
Not complaining,...

put the car in test mode, power light blinks steady, i guess this means there's no problem with the car, besides the fact that its stuck in SECOND!!!!
tranny shop says tranny is fine but computer...

maybe not....
auto zone tells me that the car has to be a 96 or later to hook it up.... i guess i'll have to bring it to the dealer ... didn't want to do that, but if anyone has any other ideas please let me know

unhooked tcu
i unhooked the 3 wires (clips?) from the tcu and drove car again...
car is still stuck in 2nd.... what the heck is goin on?!?

okay, the tranny shop says tranny is fine.....
says its a computer problem with the TCM module?
did a search and didnt turn up a tcm at all, maybe its got a different name, its the computer...

just an update...
turns out that the tires i have on the rims are cupping, and a balance and/or alignment would be useless...... guess the stock rims are goin back on until i can afford a new set of tires :-(
