Re: I know there are more SVXers in UTAH!

I did sell it. I should have kept it, but moved to NH and needed something to move all my crap with. Bought a van and moved my two bikes and everything else. I wish I could have taken it with me. :(

Re: Collectible Automobile - Great Car, Lousy Timing.

Lol. This is funny because I don't get any compliments or people asking about my car. Back when I had my '88 535is though it got more attention.

Re: rims what do you think?

Lol...

Technically there should be a difference in ride going to a smaller sidewall like 17" wheels to 18" however I have run 16, 17, and 18 with the right size tires and there really isn't much...

Re: HID kits on the cheap.

Yup 4500k so they are straight white. I don't have any rainbow with them either. The only thing I am worried about is how hot they will run and if the plastic housings can handle it. Easily the best...

Here are mine as well. I also need a bit more fine tuning but it is pretty close to on. I am not a night shot pro so excuse the camera work :)

Re: HID kits on the cheap.

I installed mine wednesday and so far they are great. I went with the 55w 4500k's and they put out some serious light. Install was simple, I just had to swap the wires coming from the stock svx...

Re: What was your very first car?

First car was an '87 Saab 9000 turbo. I guess I didn't have a choice in getting hooked on the wierd stuff, lol. Drove it for a year and sold it for what I paid for it. Then:

'89 Crown Vic
'90...

Re: 245/40R17 Kumho Ecsta in the snow.

As far as I know the prviously listed cars are the only subies with a 5x114.3 bolt pattern. However, many mazdas, nissans, mitsu's have the right bolt pattern. So you could get some hub rings and use...

Re: Some new wheels

I think it would look better on an ebony. I think the wheels themselves came out just awesome, but on the car I am sort of in the middle. I got the powder coat for nearly nothing so I don't feel it...

Some new wheels

Re: just for fun :)

Likes: Solid feel, quiet comfort, and the fact that I don't ever even see anyone in one. Working on one isn't ridiculous either.

Dislikes: Cheap interior plastics, my leather is getting hard,...

Re: Is your H6 buttery smooth?

Mine has 123k and is smooth and quiet. Occasionally after the car has warmed my idle will drop a tad low, but that should be easy to fix. I just finished the 4.11 swap so I am on to that next. I have...
