Re: Turbo EG33 Powered Datsun
The width is insufficient with the stock unibody to clear the EG33. This is not going to become a popular swap among the 240z-280z guys. This is a tough swap, but what the helll :)

Re: Turbo EG33 Powered Datsun
Here's the turbo I have lying around that might make its way onto the EG33 instead of the 2JZ. Its good for 1200hp (80mm inducer)

Weight, Unique, Sound, Length, Height, COG.
I also have a 2JZ engine that I could put in this car. The EG is just cooler, lighter, and just weird.

Re: SVX Engine cooling "Again & Again"
I don't know if I follow. The pressure will decrease through the circuit as you move away from the water pump. If you are able to place the pressure sensor between the restriction and the pump, you...

Re: Individual Throttle Bodies.
Well I've decided to go a cheap route and use motorcycle throttles on my EG33. These feature 52mm throttle plates. They tapper to 49mm on their outlet. The best part about this is I've sourced 3 sets...

Re: SVX Engine cooling "Again & Again"
We should not be reducing pump speed if we can help it. It is proven that this pump geometry can do just fine at high rpms in EJ applications. It should be no difference in our EG33 application. We...

These are suprisingly affordable :) the most expensive portion is the velocity stack on top :). I'm going to need some big cams to take advantage of these :)

Well I'm officially going ITB's with two injectors per cylinder. The units I am going to run are 52mm diameter at the plate. I'll post pictures once the mail man delivers the first set :)

Re: SVX Engine cooling "Again & Again"
The pressure differential is driving fluid flow. As long is there is a pressure drop, there will be flow as the high pressure water does not want to be high pressure and travels through the system so...
