there is one in the salvage yard locally that is FLATTENED down to the window sills, front to back left to right...1/2 the height it used to be!

they must be awful expensive....ive been in/around shops for ummm gee 25 years now and all ive ever seen were the traditional triangular bits...

i didnt even know there were other...

my source is awsum....genuine Subey rad taxes included brand new was sub 400$

front fenders are (i think) 125$

i just picked up a nice rolling shell with a TON of good stuff on it...

i think its the in the best shape rust-wise of the three i now have, so IT will be the basis of the rally...

many late 80's-90's corvettes had directional wheels AND DIFFERENT WHEEL SIZES FRONT TO BACK !!!

thus yielding tire-rotations requiring all 4 be dismounted and re-mounted again....

it doesnt necessarily have to be a perfect circle...

n. american gm products had (have?) lobe-shaped linkages....this provides a non-linear throttle response

GM did this to make customers...

yes...stock struts are just about toast...
i have an "in" with some subaru rally teams, so i will be using/modding hand-me-down suspension bits until i can afford dms (10,000$$ !!??!!??)

yes...i have race belts to install...just gotta whip up a cross-bar to receive the shoulder belts :) (at least until i get the cage installed ...)

in the meantime, clamping the stock...

yes i suppose that was probably the cause of the rear diff...
the trans was in pieces in the trunk/back seat when i bought the car, so i didnt even bother looking at it, since i had a 4.44...
