A couple of reasons I looked at the EG33 is it's larger displacement. Another reason is it has a what I thought was a readily...

It's a Laser 917, 1970's era kit car imulation of a Porsche 917. I've totally re-engineered the suspension and gone all big disk brakes. Now it's ready to accept some serious power!

Same parts eh, ..... dang! I was hoping the Saab was going to be some magical super auto trans that would hold up to turbocharging the EG33. Oh well, the quest goes on.......
