i've experimented taking my old one apart......

i've experimented taking my old one apart... difficult but do-able. i was just curious in case i ran across a burnt-out tranny with that ratio (might get it for peanuts)

so i could change my gear ratio from 4.11 to 4.44...

so i could change my gear ratio from 4.11 to 4.44 by getting a blown tranny with the correct diff. ratio and just change the gears? if so, i'll definately have to store that info for later use

is the gear ratio difference (4.11, 4.44, etc) in the combination of the transmission, fron differential, and rear differential or just the front and rear differentials? is there actually a gearing...
