I found the solution. I sold my EG33 powered Legacy and bought a 911 Carrera :lol:
Seriously though, this is fascinating stuff. Keep it up. I'm still reading it as you can see.

I am but I don;t have anywhere to put 3.5" of thermostat housing. Going to be running without till I figure this out. Perhaps Ryan could integrate this into my radiator.

Yes so if you don't run a thermostat you don't run a gasket. It fits round the thermostat plate so wouldn't be thick enough to seal without the thermostat to support it.
