CEL code 34 after warm up

I've been trying to get my 1992's CEL to quit coding a 34 for several months. 34 is the code for a bad EGR solenoid valve. I replaced that part when I had the intake off to replace the rubber lines...

I think it boosted performance some. Its hard to say without doing before and after tests at the dragstrip, but the car runs really good on 87 octane when you have the ecutune set for low octane gas....

What a great winter car!!

This morning it was about -10F and the SVX started up just like it was summer. The snow grip is really good too even with performance tires. This is the best driving and handling car I've ever had....

Harvey, I was thinking that way too, but the solenoid valve that operates the IRIS diaphragm diverts to atmosphere when power is removed from the circuit so the IRIS valve is able to close.
