Hvac control power
First day it snows my hvac is inoperable. Lights come on with the hl switch but push the buttons and nothing happens. No beep even. Clock is also out. Checked all fuses :( please help! Freezing my...

Had a buddy go all out on it. Had to bust off all of the plastic latch backing till we got to the latch itself. Still intact w/ spring. CLASSIC way of fixing for the moment. Took a piece of wire...

Sorry to take forever. Had checked all fuses etc. Turns out somewhere along the constant lead for the radio was a break. Rewired it and BAAAMMM everything works! :)

Yes. It gets like halfway and the arm(?) that it connects to on the latch starts to bend sideways... Completely unlike the opposite door ( i took that panel off and watched how it worked) Still...

Fortunately i pried the door panel open enough to be able to visualize the mechanism. It seems the latch itself is stuck somehow. It's way past slim jim, I disconnected all the linkages and...

Well i've tried unlocking it with the battery d/c. I assume that would be the same as pulling the fuse? It feels like it's the lock mechanism itself is bound or something, i don't know if that...
