What clutches have most of you used? I used an ACT stage 1 pressure plate and an exedy(sp?) super S disc and found the pedal to be extremely stiff and the release points in pedal travel seem to vary...

make sure you both clean and inspect the battery...

make sure you both clean and inspect the battery terminals. The symptoms you speak of sound exactly like a weak battery or bad park neutral switch for the restart problem.
