This means no more blinky light right now...I'm still monitoring it with cold engine startups and warm engine startups....Everything good so far.
Shifting is smooth, none of that jerky hard...

I soldered a 1 watt 390 ohm resistor 5% tolerance...but after it was soldered, I measured the resistance and the resistor is a bit out of spec...I was getting 430 ohms....So far no blinking light...

what is an equivalent to a 390 ohm 1 watt resistor? I see that radio shack has a 390 ohm 1/2 watt resistor and I don't want to get the wrong wattage, but does it matter for this kit? I have forgotten...

The shift kit would have a resistor with the color codes of 1st digit band - Blue, 2nd digit band- Violet, multiplier ...

I usually drive in 3 for city and then D on the freeway...and I don't jump on the gas either.

Wait a min....Jason....have you checked your codes anyways??? 16 blinks means the Tranny is storing a code anyways.... Why don't you disconnect the ground wire like I did in my "Resetting Codes"...

I know....I drove my truck today, so I will take the car tomorrow...I still have a feeling I'll get a blinker :( Although I did start the car up (engine warm) last night and no blinky lighty. :)

I almost installed my new resistor, but ran out of time this week. The new resistor I have measures 12.7 ohms....I didn't check my current on the car..but I'm seeing the intermittent code...

Did you just receive the kit? I have a thread about my blinky light....I ordered a new tranny resistor....I also have the shift kit.
