Thanks Beef

Sounds like the PWR rad's cooling ability is as advertised. If I remember correctly that's what my tranny tech said was low optimal operating temp. Does 150-175 degrees sound right? Would you keep us...

How To Check Tranny Temps

Since no amount of reasoning or argueing from authority will ease the pain of some of the bellyaching PWR customers (apparently a pretty small minority) and since a quite reasonable request has been...

Right You Are...

the initial offering was including shipping. However, again my experience led me to expect changes in the deal along with possible problems with the equipment. That's why I did my due diligence...

I Don't Think So...

Although I have a number of more important and pressing issues to deal with I reviewed the first 20 or so pages of this thread in order to be accurate and I don't remember seeing that being expressed...

"Experience Is The Only True Fact"...

-Santayana.

Electrophil,
Apparently my experience is somewhat different than yours:
First would be many more years of dealing with this sort of thing. From having to have the headers on my '67...

Don't Ever Buy A Ferrari, Maserati, Even Old Porsche..

if these relatively minor problems are "freakin'" you out. I've put up with way more hassle just trying to get the correct distributor for a late '60's V12 Ferrari and at three times the cost of this...

Rojo, May I pester you for a few more details?...

Rojo,
May I pester you for a few more details? How did you hookup the 5 pass in the new rad to the tranny? Is it spliced in line with the aux? How many lines can you attach to the tranny? And what's...

Aux Cooler

Steve,
Further back in this thread (I think) someone with pretty good credentials urged installation of an aux cooler in addition to the one in the alum rads. Is that necessary and appropriate...you...
