Re: Power Mode Selection

Re: Power Mode Selection

Yeah I'm sure that the way the picture shows it is correct. I remember because I stuck the nail in the side at first and broke part of the housing right next to the release tab which is why I was...

Re: Power Mode Selection

If you are trying to remove the pin from the connector, those pics of mine that you quoted are good step by step instructions. Mine was jammed because I did it incorrectly the first time by trying to...

Re: Power Mode Selection

When you’re laying on the driver’s side floor mat looking up underneath the dash, you should be able to see the black connector. You’ll know it’s the right one if it has the brown wire going into A6...

Re: Power Mode Selection

Finally got it! Apparently I busted the plastic clip in that slot and it got jammed in there and that's why it wouldn't move. Little bit of force got it out, and inserted into pin 4. If anyone is...

Re: Power Mode Selection

Ok I took a few pics to see if I'm doing this right.

Re: Power Mode Selection

Where exactly is the internal clip? I have been inserting the screwdriver into the hole that is in the end of the plug and wiggling it and prying in every direction, but it just doesn't seem to want...

Question Re: Power Mode Selection

I'm attempting this right now on my 97, and trying to use the manual button as the switch. From what I've gathered in this thread I should be able to depin the brown/black wire from the A6 position...
