Sounds like it's time for a new tranny. When my tranny went it slipped out of gear and the engine revved high. I had nothing but 1st and reverse left.

Might be a regulator, cable, or sleeve lock clip. If you hear a humming noise, the motor should be good. Take the door panel off and have a look.

Did you loosen the bolt in the middle of the pulley before trying to tighten the belt? If you didn't, make sure you do once you get it fixed.

I have exactly the same problem. It is a tricky problem because there are so many possible causes. What would you look for when trying to decide if the tranny mount it bad? Will it be pretty obvious?...

Try to find one either on here or on Ebay, I got mine on ebay for $15 and it takes 5 minutes to install. Unplug the old one and plug in the new one. Easy as that.

Window Help

Yesterday my passenger side window stopped working and won't go down. Now I am down to no A/C and minus one window in a heat wave...cool:rolleyes:

I get no response when I use the drivers side...
