AFB,
That bay looks really good, how much did all the color coordinating cost you?
Oh and anyone who's hood hit the cap before going earless. If your cap is still leaking even after the clearance...

Cap

Phil,
I just took a hammer and a 3/8 extention and beat the inner lining of my hood a little. After I checked for clearance I touched it up and it's as good as new!!

Yeah we need to activate an account for them. It isn't working with a middle man we need them to speak on their product to help resolve the issues.

Clint

Electro,
He said they did cut it down, and I believe him. Remember I saw the crate of radiators the second time I went down, but they were shipped unfinished. They did try to correct the problem,...

Clint at PWR

Hey guys I just got back from PWR. Clint took a long look at my radiator and got some ideas rolling. They are thinking about a ring that will fit around the cap after the ears have been cut off. I'm...

Coolers

I don't think they actually have a rating for the cooler. 5 pass just means the amount of tubing in the radiator for tranny cooling. The original is a 2 pass, so we should be getting 150% better...

Cooler

WGJ,
I have a fender mounted trans cooler in addition to my radiator. I haven't found a way I like extra gauges mounted in my car yet so I have no tranny gauge. I figure the more the better,...

Thermostat

The thermostat should control the temp, and actually the tranny fluid may warm up faster as it is contact with coolant longer.

I see what you guys mean about another step to the tabs. Usually don't you tighten the radiator cap to the furthest point? All cars I have ever owned were this way, but it is possible as I have...

Hood

I don't think the heat will be an issue with the paint. The cap on my radiator does not get that hot and it is only the slight edge of the ear that hits. I don't think it will be an issue.

No it is a little off. When I go to take my cap off after hood has moved it I only have to turn it like 1/4 turn and it releases pressure.

I don't think it's a quality control issue, don't hesitate to buy. Mine might be the only one with an issue, and I am sure it will be resolved. I sent Clint at PWR an email as a heads up. It was a...

It is hitting the hood, but I'm more worried about the cap bending or not sealing properly eventually. I guess I could cut off the ear, but it would look kinda ugly. Hey does anyone make earless...
