Yes, it's a 92. I pulled the correct TCU plug - per the instructions and my plug wires looked just like the pictures. A4 was open, so that's where my pin was inserted and taken to ground. But...

I have not pulled the latch assembly yet... but I have heard it is the 'black box' attached to the back of the door lock latch.
It's times like these that I wish I had a mechanically inclined...

Thank you, Gene. I've saw that diagram during my search before. I'll check for the drains again tonight. So... you can 'see' them without taking anything apart? Just open the sunroof halfway...

This may be obvious... but you didn't use an SVX wiring harness. So, I'm assuming you have an ECU from the impreza . Umm.. was the impreza a 2.5 liter? If so, that's a 4 cyl.
