LOL... sorry... missed it.
Yes, there is a small busted seam in the driver side upper exterior bolster (about 1.5 inches)... been that way since I bought it, and it hasn't spread. Lower bolster...

Is a torque converter something that would cause the tranny to act "almost" normal until it heats up... and then fail completely?

5pm.... it's been sitting all day, except the 2 minutes I had it running to check the ATF fluid at 11:30 am.
Starts right up..... pops right into reverse... no prob.
I took it out for a drive. ...
