Thanks ill do thay if i decide to tear into this trans. i havent worked on a lot of trans so I'm hesitate to try on this. i usually just do swap outs or take them to a specialist. but my fear there...

Its not throwing any codes. Does it always throw a code when the solenoid goes out or does this seem mechanical and not solenoid related?

Thanks guys. ill try changing the solenoid first. will one work off any other 4EAT auto transmission? Or does it have to be off an svx? and thanks for all the help. i had the trans rebuilt 62000...

Yea I've done it that way. I even unhooke the battery to see if it would reset. I turned the alarm on and test it to see if it works and it does. I'll try to clean the contacts on the security button

Yea I tried that button. even replaced the whole switch with the lights and sunroof buttons. still the same thing. Ill check the passenger side switch and see.
