just a thought, but if you use the supercoupe blower, you could use the throttle body elbow, and use a readily available large aftermarket ford throttle body. the elbow also has the bypass valve

i have to say, i would disagree with pulling them together. its much easier to just pull the engine, then pull the transmission. engine takes about 45 minutes to get out, tranny another 30 or so.

too newbish to tune a standalone to factory ecu settings? i didn't know standalones had obd2 capability. so those who need emissions testing have no other option then a piggyback, unless your blessed...

this intake system is making sense to me.
do you happen to have the stock camshaft specs? advertised duration, duration at .050, lobe seperation angle and lift?

i took this and did some non svx reading about using intake manifold tuning to get a positive pressure in the cylinder. it's very cool stuff. free boost almost.

basically, it starts with a long runner intake for torque development, and switches to short runner intake for power development.
it's basically an IMRC, but with a single valve in the middle.

tune it yourself.
basically you plug it in, it pulls up the stock tune. and then you adjust it from there. it's insanely easy to use. i am tuning a talon tsi right now with it.

look into ecmlink/dsmlink.
it allows you to take full control of the stock ecu. no need to buy a standalone or anything.

i know, i was just trying to say there is a point when more adjustability will be needed, possibly with a MAP based system. at which point a standalone is the option, or possibly piggy back systems

is your stage 2 tune, just a 1 tune fits all? so if 1 car has cams, and another has a turbo. they both get the same tune?
if you had a program where i could adjust the tune...

funky running problems
heres some background.
car is a 2006 impreza 2.5i
engine is a 1992 eg33. the 2 ecu's run seperately. the only wires shared between them are starter signal, and a 12v source.
