If i can see the actual connector on the end of the brown and black wire,,i can see which way to release it.

Does ANYONE have a photo of this released terminal? I've tried this in every slot down the row and it's worked on none of them. 2 jewelers screwdrivers, 1 safety pin, 1 finishing nail and 1 long male...

It's my belief that the red dots are where the tool is supposed to slide in to depress the tab. I won't know for sure until someone shows me the female connector. It's my experience that the lock tab...

Still have some fiddling to do but,,,for future reference,,, a flat tipped nail goes through your finger easier than it comes out.

Or are you 110% sure the lock tab was on the side you had the nail in? Because i have a jewels screwdriver and did run it all the way through and no, it did not release it.

I saw those except i think the slot you actually needed to release the tab is on the other side of the connector, just below it, as it were. That's why i want a picture of an actual terminal. I...

Eh, I found it, just overlooked it, anyone have a picture of the female pin connecter so i can see which way the lock tab is positioned?

k, the other box it is "mounted" to has large blue plugs.

Old thread, I know.... Is that a 10 pin plug? I ve pulled all three of the plugs out of my TCU and see no brown wire in 6th position, but... it looks like i have 2 16 pin connectors bookending an 8...
