Re: Bontrager Works 22mm rear sway bar kit

Isn't there an install document on the forum somewhere? I remember seeing one but can't seem to find it.

Re: Phenolic Intake Manifold and TB spacers for the SVX/EG33 coming soon

Yes, I made them myself. Slaved over a hot CAD program for [insert enough time to make you feel guilty here]!

I scanned in the OE gaskets and traced. You'd be surprised how ragged the edges of the...

Re: Phenolic Intake Manifold and TB spacers for the SVX/EG33 coming soon

Just my $0.02:
I looked into having these made here in town and the biggest thing I ran into was the difficulty involved with milling the phenolic material. Most traditional CNC machines won't...

Any drivers in Germany?

Hello all. It seems there isn't much activity on this particular thread but I'm hoping to talk to someone about living in Germany. My wife and I took a two-week vacation there this summer and are...

SVX and Subaru Key Tags

I've been selling these on the Facebook group for awhile and it occurred to me that there may be some on here that aren't on Faceyspace.

These key tags are made out of 1/16" stainless steel with...

Re: Misfire and TPS adjustment issues

I've wondered if this was the case. Is there a quick and dirty way to check for a leak like this? Seems to me that it would be hard to reproduce while sitting on jack stands.

Re: Misfire and TPS adjustment issues

The ticking is only when it's pulling itself and increases with engine RPMs. I'm really not sure what to make of it; hope it isn't too serious. I wish some of the Suby masters lived nearby, I'd have...

Re: Misfire and TPS adjustment issues

Was your ticking noticable all the time? That is under load, at idle, off idle in neutral/park.
the ticking i'm experiencing sounds just like a lifter but can only be heard when the car is pulling...

Re: Misfire and TPS adjustment issues

I have this same problem. My motor was quiet when we first put it together but its started making this ticking since I've got it back on the road. Is this stuff a gas additive or oil?

*edit*

Re: 4.44 Swap Qs - Speed Sensor & Input Shaft

Ran into the same problem with the input shaft on my 4.44 swap. You did the right thing. I also ended up using the SVX input shaft and TQ; been running like a champ.

On the speed sensor, I think...

Re: Wiper inserts

Re: Bucky Lasek Rally Cross WRX at my "local" dealer

Ask the guy in the trailer about the SVX (can't recall his name now). He mentioned trying to buy one he saw at SubyFest and seemed pretty excited about it.

Bucky Lasek Rally Cross WRX at my "local" dealer

Drove halfway across the state to see it; totally worth the drive.

Re: Squishy taillight gasket

Thanks for the pointer on the gasket. I went ahead and buttoned the nuts all the way down when I put it in yesterday. I'll be sure to go loosen them a smidge tonight.

Re: Dynomat or similar

The stuff from Home Depot was discussed at length on the CR-Z forum when I was an owner. DON'T USE IT! On a hot day your car will smell like a roof getting re-tarred and the stuff will start to peel...

Re: 1-2nd hard shift fix (kind of)

Is there a "preferred" method/location for installing these? Is it still recommended with the 4.44 swap? Would it still be helpful with an ECU Tune TCM and valve body?
