The colored bands on the resistor are as follows: Brown, White, Gold, Gold.

Does that resistor have the correct resistance? or would a different resistor be better suited for the application?

I put a resistor between the airbag wires to keep the airbag light from coming on.

As for the cruise control wires, I connected a resistor because I didn't want anything weird to happen by just...
