no 96-97 here but I believe the getting around emissions is if you have a obd2 car, your legacy, and you run a obd1 ecu, the obd2 scanners will obviously not work. If you are able to put a obd2 ecu...

I believe he is putting a EG33 engine into a 99 legacy, I think you might need the 96-97 wiring or you will need lots of patience and splicing your factory with the 92 harness wiring. Thats...
