Re: Lan's performance transmission - any feedback?

I've heard from racers that level10 is bad and IPT in NJ also is the way to go

Re: AUTO versus Stick....help me decide..whats your take

I'm surprised no one has mentioned IPT in NJ http://www.importperformancetrans.com/
These Autos. with 4.44 gears are amazing. With the heavy 6sp you're stuck with 3.90 gears and a shorter overdrive,...

Re: who wants an aftermarket rear sway bar?

The tires are fine, what is important is that the stock bars are put back in to demonstrate the improvement of the bars alone, everything else being equal;)

Re: who wants an aftermarket rear sway bar?

If you can provide a video of a balanced front and rear bar showing a respectable improvement on a g-tech, before and after the bars are installed, I will paypal you $1,000.00.

Re: who wants an aftermarket rear sway bar?

Do you mean he's still working on your order? Apparently from the threads he provided SVXRide with front and rear sway bars. I also don't think he did the development himself, but this shop did:

Re: weight issues

eastcoastswappers.com and enhancedstreetperformance.com will do a complete STi swap. Other than that, acid dip the whole frame and rebuild a base model car with as little as possible.

Re: 4-500hp Turbo Motor for $10k

You're very welcome. He told me this was for a dyno tuned motor on 91 octane, they don't have 93 in CA. Basically it's the same motor as the 1,000hp he only builds but detuned for pump gas and...

Re: dammit, 18" rubber

I've read the KDWs didn't test well and are real loud. I like the Dunlop Z1 Star Spec's the best on wet streets, tested better than the Neova's and RE01R, but are only $117 at tires.com

Re: Baseline Dyno 7/16/08

I found this very interesting. I was thinking the 6 could do more with mods. A modded RS 2.5L is putting down the same power here:...

Re: 4-500hp Turbo Motor for $10k

John basically said it would be $9-10k no matter if he built a 1,000hp or 400hp engine, basically the 400hp motor could handle up to 1,000hp, so I see it as a solid motor for long term racing.

Re: Any stroker motors?

I was told that the crank's journal can't take more than a .25" increase. Are you making a custom crank? Now that takes 3 cranks.

4-500hp Turbo Motor for $10k

I just talked to John Edwards at Costa Mesa R&D Automotive(949-631-6376) who builds 1,000hp EG33s for off road use and he said he can build a turbo street engine for pump gas. He's backed up 6 months...

Re: Any stroker motors?

No added weight or lag and relatively efficient horsepower. I just talked to bbandtracing.com and they said they'de only be able to get 3.6L out of the crank for $600.

Any stroker motors?

I see the bore is 3.8" and thought it would be nice if the crank could be ground for 3.8", which would give 4.3L. Is the crank forged and is their a grind for it?

Re: Please help me... My gauge is lame

My car is doing the same and like someone previously posted the fuel send unit rusts. The fuel light should still work and then you'll know you have 20 miles to get gas.

MSD Ignitions and coils.

What should I use with 75hp Nitrous? 7600, 7020, or both 62152 and 62112?
Links to relevant threads would be great as the search has no results for MSD even though there are titles.
