Yer they are just glued on.
You can remove the tint without the heater/demister bars coming off tho.
Pro tinters use a steam machine to melt the glue and the tint just peels away, you cant just use...

I went with the later model turbo liberty/legacy flexplate as suggested above, was about $70 trade price from memory from my local subaru.
I called tony rigoli racing about there 'upgrade' flexplate...
