This past Friday I saw 2 SVXi, one was Fun173's (BTW nice rims!) and a black one, with a neat spoiler, on the mass pike. :)

Just look underneath your car and follow your lower radiator hose. You will see it goes to the thermostat housing and there is your thermostat. Pretty easy to do as well! :)

Got a pic of the Beck/Arnley filter. The circled area is the part you spoke of having to be concave and does it look right? I think it does cause it seems to match what you were saying.

Oh, that is the right part number, but they sometimes put the wrong filter in? I thought you were being sarcastic before XD. You would think they would get that right. :rolleyes:

So, I need an internal tranny filter for my SVX. I know there is a really good write up on this but the part number listed for the Pro-King trans filter is FK-237, but I can't seem to find that...

If it isn't the dust shields it might also be the parking brake shoes not fully disengaging and dragging a bit.

-1990 Ford Taurus LX Station Wagon 3.8 v6 complete with bumper stickers all over it. Got rid of it after the head gasket blew, those 3.8s where found of that XD.
-1988 Buick Regal Custom 2.8 v6 also...

I have a 1992 Dark Teal LS-L. If I am not mistaken, I think your mother saw my car at a Shell gas station in West Newton. She came up to me and told me that she got her son a red 1997 SVX, I assume...

Yesterday around 2:30pm I saw Claret/Bordeaux SVX in Newton Corner drive by. No spoiler and pretty sure a women was driving it. Was this anyone on the forums?
