Hi! I removed the power extension cable and cut off the molded grommet.
The original receptacle"plug" that was connected to the old 9006 bulb can plug directly into the pigtail on the ballast. Pix...

The new DDM HIDS have smaller 2 pc ballasts that are easier to mount than the old large ballasts...DDM ballasts on the left, cheap EBay set on the right. The slim ballasts tuck nicely under the...

Thanks! By too small, do you mean the length of the 55W H1 will crash the small metal shield? Also, 3k is offered, is yellow really better for fog lamps?

On my two sets of HID conversions, the set with the rainbow effect has bulbs that are off center in the bases, I wonder if that has anything to do with the effect?

I have HID conversion kits on 2 SVXi, one 97, one 92. I get the slight rainbow effect on 1 kit, the other is pure white/blue. Although they are both 9006 kits, the bulbs are different, and positioned...

Hi,
From the pictures, these are are a different set from the $80 set I bought from Ebay. Did you try the FM radio while lamps are on/off?

I have installed both the $200 OT HIDs and an $80 set from Ebay in 2 SVXi...These were my observations/memory during installation:
