A few questions,

If the intake manifold were polished prior to being coated would it still have the smooth look on top, or would it give it that speckled look, like in your picture?

What's the science behind the spacers? What are they supposed to do??? How much are the spacers??? Also, can't any machine shop port and polish the exhaust manifolds (or headers as some would call...
