swapped out the ecu for my spare. The ecu is damaged. Must have been a short in the wiring, either in the alternator or the harness i made for the fan. Either way the ecu is cooked, car will run and...

After my alternator shorted out I swapped on a replacement and it is running fine again, this alt only puts out 13.4v. I went for a test drive and had the CEL come on.

Manual switch. Fan is run straight off the battery with a fuse and relay, switch controls the relay.

I just finished wiring in a Flex-a-lite radiator fan on my eg33 swapped legacy. Ran the fan straight off the battery with a relay and spst switch.

-I tested evrything out and it was working...

You say that crank #2 and the cam sensor are the same as the legacy and impreza parts. What years impreza and legacy can you use these parts from?
