Rear Suspension noise...running out of idea's
Noise in rear is two fold...
clunking rattling noise over choppy roads, parking lots slow speeds.
squeaking noise same conditions as above, but can be made to do it just by getting in/out of...

I spray lubed anything that was rubber, or any kind of mount just to see if noise would go away...and it didn't.

I too had terrible fuel leak when tank was over 1/2 full. I also suspected fuel lines leaking, but lucky for me my son is a Subaru tech and had to pull tank down to really see what was up. Turned out...

What "mod" had been done that created the clunk?
Mine has a rapid clunking sound slow speeds, rough roads along with terrible suspension squeak.
Has NEW rear strut mounts, but didn't change...

R-134A retro fit went smooth on my 92.
I can honestly say it blows colder than any of the other vehicles that I own, and the heater will blow hot air much faster than any other car I own.

On mine, It would leak fuel bad until 1/2 tank and it would stop. Couldn't figure it out, so son took tank down as a last reasort and bingo...the culpret a piece of gravel about an 1 inch big had...

Yea, it's not a fun job to R&R the tank. Had to have my son do it twice when I had a fuel tank leak due to a hole.
Glad I could just pay him in beer!
