That’s what I thought.
Then I see digits for both 2WD & AWD 5-speeds in the VIN Code. In two distinct digits. So the VIN coding was designed to handle two 5-speed SVX variants they never built.

The ‘wasted’ dummy digit #9 just seems weird though… Logic would say it’s a code for something, lol. Not a field for a random character...
